Weight Management and Habit Control

Many of our patients have asked us to help them overcome personal habits that are preventing them from achieving optimal physical and mental health for themselves and their families.

While these habits include cigarette smoking, exercise avoidance, and the excessive use of alcohol and drugs, the most common impediment is overeating which prevents needed weight loss.

In virtually every study of longevity, the single factor that appears to be most significant for longevity is body weight. In short, THERE ARE NO OLD FAT PEOPLE!

The Weight Control Program at The Bresler Center is individualized to meet the needs of each patient, and may include laboratory testing, acupuncture, electrotherapy, guided imagery, stress management, massage, exercise, and a structured personalized dietary program.
