In cooperation with Labrix, The Bresler Center offers salivary hormone testing as an easy and noninvasive way of assessing our patients hormone balancing needs. Salivary testing is proving to be the most reliable medium for measuring hormone levels for unlike serum tests, saliva testing represents only hormones actively delivered to receptors in the body. Clinically, it is far more relevant to test these bioavailable hormones and provide an accurate reflection of the body’s active hormone levels.
The test is simple and non-invasive, for it only requires you to spit a small amount of saliva (1 ml) thru a straw into a color coded tube four times in a day. When done, you seal the tubes and drop the pre-addressed postage paid container into any mailbox. In a few days, we receive a a complete assessment of your bioavailable hormone levels including: Estrone, Estradiol, Estriol, Progesterone, Testosterone, Dihydrotestosterone, DHEA, Melatonin, and Cortisol.
